Actively shaping what the future holds
Behind every activity is an attitude: We bring people, ideas, and technologies together—for measurable impact and real change
Our activities are driven by conviction—with a clear goal and an open mind.
The Game Changer Simulation Initiative provides impetus, brings people together, and makes complex future topics tangible. Events, collaborations, and partnerships arise from a clear desire to shape the future – based on expertise and strategic thinking.
A lot has happened since our premiere on March 7, 2023. This first event was not only a beginning, but also shaped the content – and its relevance continues to grow.
We believe that active connection creates sustainable change. And that is exactly what our commitment stands for – in the B2B sector, in research, and in society.
A look at our activities to date shows how seriously we take our commitment – and how diverse the topics are that we are strategically advancing.
Whether panels, events, or partnerships: each format contributes to highlighting simulation, AI, and HPC from different perspectives and getting them moving.
Here is an overview and a selection on the right – take a look and be inspired.

Designing simulation: A kickoff with impact
Our first event was exclusive, focused, and forward-looking. In a closed panel discussion, invited guests and ASCS members discussed how simulation can shape the mobility of tomorrow.
Three central theses were the focus of attention – visualized in an inspiring video. This resulted in ten practical key statements that still provide guidance today. They were confirmed by all participants and form a solid foundation for future strategies.
In combination with AI and HPC, it becomes clear that simulation is not a marginal topic, but a key to solving real-world challenges.
Partnerships
Thinking ahead together – partnerships with impact
Innovation is a team sport. That is why the initiative focuses specifically on partnerships with strong players from research, industry, and standardization – such as DFKI, ASAM, HLRS, and many others.
These collaborations make it possible to bring simulation, AI, and HPC into real-world applications, develop common standards, and provide new impetus.
Simulation on the Road to Decarbonization
Sustainability needs simulation
How can simulation help reduce CO₂? This was the question addressed by the panel “Simulation on the Road to Decarbonization.”
A strong sign: This resulted in an interdisciplinary working group that developed ten well-founded theses on the use of simulation for sustainable mobility and production.
The result shows that simulation supports concrete climate targets—precisely, efficiently, and measurably.
AI- and Data-driven Simulation
AI + Simulation = Future Potential
When simulation meets artificial intelligence, completely new potential emerges: for faster development cycles, smarter systems, and data-driven decisions.
With the event series AI and Data-driven Simulation, we revisit this dream team every year with keynotes, panels, and best practices from industry and research.
