AGRICULTURE
In the agricultural industry, simulation helps make agricultural processes more efficient, sustainable, and climate-resilient. It enables the modeling of growth cycles, crop failures, water and nutrient balances – based on real environmental data and farm-specific parameters. This allows sowing times, irrigation systems, and fertilization concepts to be optimized before measures are implemented in reality. Animal welfare, resource use, and the impact of new technologies can also be specifically evaluated through simulation.
In combination with AI, these become learning systems: they analyze large amounts of data, recognize patterns in weather, soil, and plant growth, and make informed suggestions for practical application. Simulation and AI form a dream team here – for smart, sustainable agriculture.
Together with DFKI, we are working on digital foundations for sustainable, intelligent, and resilient agriculture.
